-forever thankful
Because of the Lord's GREAT LOVE, we are not consumed, for his compassions NEVER fail.
They are new every morning; great is your FAITHFULNESS.

wHO dEY! (well not this time)
We took the Big Guy to his first NFL game on Sunday! Lots of fun. It was planned as a guys day but I tagged along. I wanted to be there to see the excitement in his eyes :)
The weather was perfect!
Sunny and 68 in November!!!
That's just not normal football weather here in OHIO.
Even though the game didn't go our way we still had a great time.
Just the 3 of us.

show us your life {other rooms) man cave etc...
Happy Friday!
This week at Kelly's Korner Blog it's show us your "extra rooms".
Check out the link to her blog at the right side of my blog.

Welcome to the MAN CAVE.
My sweet hubby was so excited to have our basement finished so he could have his own room. (meaning the decorating is out of my control)
He used his love for guitars and has a passion for music as a way of decorating...
We all actually enjoy this space. He have 6.1 surround sound in the walls
so family movie night at our house ROCKS!
This area is the kids play area and hang out. I also watch children from home three days a week so this is also a great space for them while my kiddos are at school.
This is my scrapbook room or "chic cave" as others have called it.

when you pray...please remember this family.
Today her life will change forever. Today she entered Baylor Cancer Center in Dallas, Texas.
She has been diagnosed with Liver Cancer. Today she started the first of four treatments.
Please pray for a miracle...
We love them so much, it's so hard to have them so far away.
While you are talking to God this week please include
my Aunt Jane and her family in your prayers.
If you have a prayer request please feel free to leave a comment and I will be more than happy to add it to my prayer list.
For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them. Matthew 18:20

show us your life {bathrooms}
check out her link at the right side of my blog
Welcome to our master bath...
before you gasp at the bare walls and builders paint please keep in mind that we moved in at the end of April and this area hasn't been touched.
I have big hopes for Spring time that we will get to decorate/paint and furniture shop for this area.. that is if I ever decide on what I want to use :)
We have a total of three full baths and two half baths. I will try to get pics up of at least my daughters and one spare 1/2 bath. I won't dare show you my teenage sons bath...yikes.

FCA {Fellowship for Christian Athletes}
Every Friday morning my big guy heads out the door at 6:45 a.m.
I am the first to admit that when my alarm goes off that early I grumble...I am not a morning person and neither is my son. BUT on this day he is excited. He is excited to wake up and get out the door to head to FCA. How can I not be excited? I am..I am also beyond thankful. I am thankful that even though my children go to public schools there is ONE morning at their school where they are allowed to worship together...

Thank you Mr. J
You are a blessing to our children.
(after each meeting the parents receive an email from Mr. J about their morning. Here is today's email)

This morning we talked all about Halloween and going Trick or Treating. This tradition has become such a huge part of our culture. So many of us started last night by ringing our neighbors' doorbells looking for candy...and we some of us will do it again on Sunday night. It is funny how little pieces of candy can bring us such happiness: and all we have to do is ring the doorbell!
But that happiness is fleeting. Bags of candy quickly turn into piles of empty wrappers. We are over sugared and yet feel empty.
Matthew 7:7-8 --"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened."
Jesus invited us to knock, and the door will be opened to us. We don't receive candy but eternal life. WOW! Now that is a precious gift! It is forever, and not fleeting like the piles of candy we keep to ourselves..... Knock, ask, and you shall receive eternal life with Him.

Blog Day of Silence
I don't know this family but my heart aches
for his daughter and their family.
Her words broke my heart.
Please keep them in your prayers.
I can't even begin to imagine the pain...
