Because of the Lord's GREAT LOVE, we are not consumed, for his compassions NEVER fail.
They are new every morning; great is your FAITHFULNESS.

the count down is on....

I missed last year for the first time in at least 8 years? We closed and moved into our new home the same weekend (plus it was my daughter's 9th bday)
I am so excited to go this year. If you have followed my blog at all over the past couple years you know that the blog named "Bring the Rain" is one of my favorites. (You can link to it from my blog list to the right)
This year Angie will be a speaker at WOF. I am thrilled!!!
She and I both experienced life changing events on the same day.
(Angie's was much bigger and deeper) but I've always felt a connection to her since that day.
Anyone else going???

Evening and morning and at noon
I will pray, and cry aloud,
And He shall hear my voice.

please pray for this sweet little girl

Today I found out that a sweet 6 year old little girl in our area has been diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma.
Please add Miss Madeline to your prayers.

In the day that I cried out,
you answered me,
and made me bold with strength in my soul.

prayers please

I ran across this request on twitter today then I also came across it again on another
Blog that I read daily.
I am not good at linking so I will post the old fashion way. Whatever the way just please pray for Joanne and her family during this horrible time.
Her husband (Toben) has asked that we pray over Psalm 46.
1 God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble.
2 Therefore will not we fear,
though the earth be removed,
and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
3 though the waters thereof roar and be troubled,
though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof.
4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God,
the holy place of the tabernacles of the Most High.
5 God is in the midst of her;
she shall not be moved:
God shall help her, and that right early.
6 The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved:
he uttered his voice, the earth melted.
7 The LORD of hosts is with us;
the God of Jacob is our refuge.
8 Come, behold the works of the LORD,
what desolations he hath made in the earth.
9 He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth;
he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder;
he burneth the chariot in the fire.
10 Be still, and know that I am God:
I will be exalted among the heathen,
I will be exalted in the earth.
11 The LORD of hosts is with us;
the God of Jacob is our refuge.

Happy 2011

I took a blog/computer break over our two week vacation. It was so nice to have family time. We traveled a little, visited with lots of family, hosted gatherings, slept in, made great memories and loved on our kiddos. It doesn't get any better than that..

It sure wasn't any fun hearing the lovely alarm BUZZ this morning.
sure wish 37 wasn't too young to retire!! lol!!

With that said here are some pics from Christmas morning :)
The big guy wanted this game sooo bad. His dad and I were 100% against it. That is until December 23rd and we found out there was a sensor mode. Needless to say it was ordered and shipped overnight. Thanks Amazon for last minute shipping. As you can tell he was SHOCKED!

This Christmas for Grace was full of tons of American Girl Goodies, crafts, Zoobles, Squinkies, Justice (everything), earrings, makeup and much more.

Then came this picture right before the final "BIG" gift from Mommy & Daddy....

Have you ever had a gift start ringing? This was a first in our house :)

FUN FUN FUN!!!! Lots of screams!!!

Best video footage yet!

They have asked for phones forever and I've always been the mean mom and said no..

until this Christmas.

They had ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA.

Then we lost them to texting.....

We felt like the coolest parents .ever. lol!!
